Who We Serve

Dreamers, Families & Dream Builders℠

For Dreamers — Build Your Future

KDA serves teens and young adults ages 13–24 who are exploring education, college, careers, athletics, leadership, and life. Dreamers can connect with KDA to learn about programs, mentoring, scholarship opportunities, career experiences, and other resources designed to help them move forward.

For Parents & Families — Help Them Find Their Path

Families play an essential role in helping young people make informed decisions. KDA provides a connection to educational opportunities, resources, mentors, and programs that can help families support their young person's development and future goals.

For Dream Builders℠ — Help Create Opportunity

Businesses, foundations, educators, coaches, mentors, professionals, and community organizations can become Dream Builders℠ by supporting scholarships, sharing expertise, providing career experiences, mentoring young people, or helping expand access to educational opportunities.
How It Works

From a Dream to a Path Forward

Every young person’s journey is different. KDA’s role is not to choose the destination for them, but to help provide the information, guidance, resources, relationships, and opportunities that can make the path forward clearer.

Step 1 — Become a Dreamer

Young people and their families can connect with KDA by becoming a Dreamer and telling us about their interests, goals, and the kinds of opportunities they are seeking.

Step 2 — Explore Opportunities

As educational programs, mentoring, scholarships, career experiences, and other opportunities become available, KDA works to connect Dreamers with resources that align with their goals and development.

Step 3 — Prepare, Participate & Grow

Opportunity matters most when a young person is prepared to use it. Through education, mentoring, accountability, and real-world experience, KDA encourages Dreamers to develop the skills, confidence, character, and responsibility needed to keep moving forward.

EXPANDING EDUCATIONAL ACCESS

KDA & PTRG Academy℠

As part of KDA’s next chapter, the Foundation is developing opportunities to provide scholarship-supported access to PTRG Academy℠ and other educational programs that can help young people prepare for their futures.

Scholarship-Supported Access

KDA is developing opportunities to help eligible student-athletes gain scholarship-supported access to PTRG Academy℠ Playing the Recruiting Game — Recruiting 2.2.

32 Modules of Recruiting Education

PTRG Academy℠ Playing the Recruiting Game — Recruiting 2.2 provides a 32-module educational curriculum designed to help student-athletes and their families better understand and navigate the college recruiting process.

More Than Athletics

KDA's mission extends beyond athletics. As the Foundation grows, we intend to pursue additional educational, career, mentoring, and developmental opportunities for Dreamers with many different goals.

Success Stories

Ryan Debruyne

The important things that i have learned from Coach Stoutt are hard work and dedication because if you are dedicated to sending out letters and putting in the hard work you will get the results that you want and are looking for.

Shawn Hogan

The important thing that I have learned from Coach Stoutt is that I am the only one that has the ability to dictate my future, and that it takes hard work and dedication because I am the only one who can choose which path to take to open the doors for my future.

Estevenso

The important things that I have learned from Coach Stoutt are time management and adaptation because as I get older things are going to get tremendously difficult and he taught me that if I am not mentally prepared I will not have the ability to make my dreams come to true…
