But before your family celebrates the offer, there is another question you need to answer: What does that scholarship actually cover—and what will you still have to pay?

Recruiting 2.2 is PTRG Academy℠'s structured 32-module recruiting curriculum. It helps student-athletes and families to fully understand the recruiting process which includes much more than just dealing with the position coach and the head coach, especially those student athletes that are not on full scholarships. It pertains explicitly with those student athletes that will be receiving 'equivalency based' scholarships, which is all explained in the 2.2 modules. This process includes dealing with college administration and financial departments as well, communication, academics and eligibility, pursuing opportunities, evaluating options, and navigating important decisions throughout the process.
They are big differences that must be clearly understood before signing the contract with a college and each of them are covered in great detail in the academy. And these resources can and will affect college costs differently, especially for the offer given to an equivalency based student athlete. In general scholarships and grants generally do not require repayment when their requirements are met, while student loans are borrowed funds that generally must be repaid. Financial aid can include multiple forms of assistance, so families must be able to properly evaluate the complete financial package.
